Gloss Hair Lounge is Poole's Award-Winning Salon. In the last 18 months we have been shortlisted for  9 awards, and won 'Dorset's Best salon' at the 2021 salon awards.  More recently we have won "Top rated salon" at the 2022 British Hair & Beauty awards. The team also won personal awards, as Jo scooped silver for Entrepreneur of the year .

The salon is led by owner Joanne who strives to deliver the very highest standards in both customer service and quality. The salon has a very high reputation for being extremely friendly.

The salon was created over 5 years ago by owner Joanne Newman. Although new to the area and knowing no one she took the chance to create the salon of her dreams. The salon has grown successfully year on year and has become one of the public's favourite friendly salons in Poole, especially over the past year.  

As Covid hit Jo was not deterred and took the Gloss to a whole new level.  She spent lockdown renovating the salon to the bright modern, trendy salon that it is today.

The Gloss ethos is to give the ultimate client experience from the moment you enter the salon. Your custom is extremely important to us and we want you to have the very best experience there is. We are known as being the friendliest salon around, which we are extremely proud of. 

The team specialise in the latest colour techniques From balayage to "The Gloss express ! The stylists make sure that all of their work is bespoke to each customer making us the go-to Poole colour specialists! 

This year, just as last, the team have beaten thousands of other hair salons to become finalists in 6 awards for: Top Rated Salon of the Year, Excellence in Customer Service, Employer of the Year, Best for blondes finalist  and Hair Salon of the Year in The British Hair and Beauty Awards 2023.
